Safety and peace of mind for our clients is our top priority. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re now offering several different services related to wills:
  • “drive-thru” wills (wills, enduring powers of attorney, and personal directives drafted during a Skype meeting with the actual signing taking place with you parked in your car by our office) at no additional charge;
  • “delivery” wills (documents drafted during a Skype meeting with the signing happening by your front door and from a safe distance) though an additional fee will be charged for this service; and
  • wills packages payable in installments for up to 6 months.

BREAKING NEWS: The Alberta Government is allowing virtual (video conference) witnessing of wills as a temporary measure during the pandemic for the next little while. Stay tuned for more information!

Everyone should have a will, an enduring power of attorney, and a personal directive. Ideally, you should have these documents prepared by an experienced lawyer so you can have the peace of mind that your will and related documents have been prepared properly and customized to your unique situation.

If you don’t have a will, or your will is out of date, I can assist you in preparing one that is appropriate for you and is likely to stand up to legal scrutiny.

My rates are very reasonable, starting at only $400 plus GST for an individual, and $700 plus GST for a couple. This covers the cost of the entire package – will, enduring power of attorney, and personal directive! Additional charges will apply for wills that take longer to draft (more than 2 hours for an individual or more than 3 hours for a couple). Extra charges also apply to make trips to homes to sign wills.

Call my office at 403-456-3977 ext 107.

Wills & Other Documents

A will, also referred to as a last will and testament, is a vital part of any person’s estate planning. The will determines who gets what from your estate, appoints one or more representatives (executors) to administer your estate, and deals with issues.

Estate Planning

The process of planning out all important issues relating to a person’s estate and end stages of life is often referred to generically as estate planning. Part of estate planning involves drafting a will, a power of attorney, and a personal directive.

Legal & Notary Services

Besides being a wills and estate planning lawyer, I am also a notary public. I offer additional legal and notary services, immigration services, document drafting, and notarization of legal documents.
